The three current addresses

The block above carries the list, because it has to be on every page of this site. This page is the long version: what the list means, how to move it into a browser, and what happens after the page loads.

Three strings, one market. The Anubis Market mirrors are equal: no ranking, no hierarchy, no main mirror. Copying one of them is not choosing a quality tier, it is choosing a route through the network. All three land in the same store.

Copy, don't type

A v3 onion address is 56 characters of base32 followed by .onion. Sixty-two characters in total, and a single wrong one changes the destination. An Anubis Market URL is a destination, not a label, so the string has to arrive intact. You will not feel the typo while you type, and the browser will not warn you. It will simply connect to whatever lives at that string.

Use the copy button on each row. Paste into the Tor Browser address bar. If you are forced to type by hand, type slowly, then read the string back against the block above before you press enter.

After the page loads

Read the address bar, not the page. A loaded page can say anything about itself. The address bar shows where you actually are. It should still contain the full 62-character string you pasted: no extra subdomain in front, nothing appended after.

If the bar shows a different .onion than the one you typed, or a clearnet domain at all, stop there. Do not enter credentials on that page.

No clearnet relays

You will find offers to open .onion addresses through clearnet gateways: .onion.watch, tor2web, and the like. They work, which is exactly the problem. A gateway sits between you and the hidden service and reads everything that passes in both directions. On a market where you hold an account and a balance, that is a trade you do not want to make.

Open the addresses directly in the Tor Browser. They need nothing else.

When the list changes

The market announces address changes on its own official channels first. This page follows the announcement. If you ever see a fourth string for the same market, or one that differs from the block above by a single character, the newcomer is the one to distrust.
